MOONBAG RUFFLE
GOT BAG - 2023
PURPOSE : Design and Development of a new iconic handbag
To continue the success of Got Bag's Moon Bag, my task was to create its follow-up and upgrade, to get a new best seller in the range. It became the Moon Bag Ruffle.
Inspired by pleats and ruffle effects, i worked with the principle of using a single material all over the body, using the unique fish-net recycling "RE:NYNET material" developed by Got Bag. A rope mechanism smartly hidden in the strap allows the customer to adapt the bag to its style and get versatile ways of carrying. From my sketches, I made prototypes to achieve the desired effect and shape, which ensured a fast development with the manufacturer.
On its first weeks of launch it became the 3rd best-seller product and is declined in a variety of bright and singular colors.
